Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Battery Life

I've watched several different videos on YouTube regarding tips to prolong the battery life of my S6. Here is a list of things that you should do if you would like to get the most out of your battery life.

1. Turn off location and WiFi when not being used
2. Turn on 'Power Saving'
3. Download the 'Battery Doctor' app
4. Make sure that when choosing a wallpaper that it is mostly black
5. Close out all apps that aren't being used
6. Make sure volume isn't turned up completely
7. Make sure the brightness of the screen is turned up just enough.

Also you will want to train your battery for about a week. This can be done by waiting until your battery is below 10%, then shutting your phone off and charging it all the way to 100%. After it is completely charged I usually wait 10 - 15 minutes before unplugging it. Another thing I like to do is shut my phone off when I go to bed. Following these rules have saved hours of my phone's battery life. Believe it or not this battery has lasted me over 25 hrs before.

If you have any additional tips on saving the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's battery life please post a comment.

1 then Android Device Manager won't find your lost phone. GPS and wifi won't be used unless required to by an app.
2 that throttles the cpu so you're paying a fortune for a phone as powerful as a mid/low-ranger
3 it's "snake oil", all apps like it are and eventually does more harm than good
4 true but how long do you actually spend on home screen?
5 when not using apps, they aren't actually running, they're cached so they open faster next time (saving time and battery) a few exceptions are Facebook etc that constantly keep the cpu awake looking for updates.

The rest are fine.

Sorry if it seems I'm shitting all over your post, just wanted to state the facts :thumbsupdroid: peace

I was just wondering if you could please give me more information about your review on 2 & 3.

No problem buddy.
#2 power saving mode underclocks the CPU making the phone slower and less "powerful" and

#3 http://androidforums.com/index.php?threads/896663/ (read the full thread from the start)
Sorry again if I offended you mate. It definitely wasn't intentional :thumbsupdroid:

(power saving will save some battery while the phone is in use, I just see it as a waste of a powerful phone unless you're desparate and running low on juice ;)

No you're fine, these suggestions were all from YouTube from other people who also own the Edge. This is why I joined this site, to get more information about this phone. Thanks for the reviews though, very much appreciated!
