Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Download Issue

Lurker
Hello, I've just recently gained an odd issue with my Tablet. For some reason, every time I download an MP3 music file it's always messed up when I play it. Not corrupted and unplayable, but in a wrong order, for example one song may play normal for 20 seconds, suddenly have half a second of another part of the song, go back to normal, and then have about 50 different parts in the space of two seconds. It isn't random either each time you play it, so it is defiantly the songs themselves.

I've checked if it was the default music player, when played through this it is always screwed up. I disabled it and used another MP3 player, it wont even show up in there. I'm unsure exactly what is causing this issue, and how to solve it, though I am keeping a factory reset as my last resort.

Not for sure but it sounds like your download might be corrupted somehow, but as far as a fix I am not to sure how to help as I use Google Play for all my music.

Since you've not told us how you were downloading them, or where you were saving them, this is only a generic answer -

Try a different browser/file manager/sd card, or try saving to internal memory temporarily to see if it makes a difference.

I've downloaded lots of 35mb (yes, 35mb) mp3s with my tab, and never had an issue.

I'm saving to the SD card, which after testing by downloading MP3's onto it with my PC may be the problem, I tried a large bulk of 40 MP3's and all of them were the last song, starting at different parts. Its a SanDisk 32G.

Try downloading with your tablet, as PC's and tables run different things. I buy all my music off the Play Store and don't have any problems when I buy and download on my tablet. This SD card is it a card you have always used in your tablet?
