Help Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 GT-P5100 - excluded from upgrade

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 model # GT-P5100 -ie. 3G model.
It has android 4.0.4 - the update service says no update is available.
Has this model been excluded from any updates?

It's over 2 years old (since release, not necessarily since you got it) - they're probably not updating it any more.

Cant seewhy it would t havd been updatedtbe same kies didnt always work for me eitber, go to sammobile and download the latest version for your device and use correct odin to install.. Its easy ple ty of tutorials on google..
Be aware the latestwas a bad slow update tho, cyanagenmods version is better im usi g it now..
