Hello everyone,
I have created this thread here today in inquiry to whether or not I should order a new charger for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4.
The story goes like this... so for a while I knew that sometimes when I used the tablet while it was charging it would (I assume) sometimes loosen the cord and stop charging for a split second then start again. I paid no attention to it for awhile until yesterday when I was trying to use it while it was charging, the charging icon (lightening bolt) icon shows up and the tablet makes the charger connected noise. However, the SLIGHTEST nudge or touch and the thing would become loose... like the charging icon would blink on and off and the noise would be made constantly, that is when I grew concerned, because my tablet was getting down to about 18% and was sending me 'PLUG IN THE DEVICE... LOW BATTERY!' notifications off the charts. I tried turning it off and restarting same problem persisted... I then tried switching outlets thinking that would help. It didn't and that's when I became REALLY worried. I scoured my house trying to find any spare chargers could find none. I use the standard white charger that comes with the device. I have tried switching the usb wall adapter.. nothing doing. I have tried blowing into the device's charging port but this did nothing... I tried the same with the cord itself and still did nothing.
I even left the tablet alone and charging all night while I went to bed, I woke up and it was at ONLY 47% and the problem yet still persisted. I looked up on the internet Samsung galaxy tab 4 chargers and found one of the same kind I have now, but I wanted to be SURE that the CHARGER was truly the issue before spending the money to order a new one. I scoured the net and google trying to find any FAQ or something that stated common signs of Galaxy Tab 4 charger wear and tear or when to replace it but found next to nothing. The only good topic I found was on this website... so I figured I would give you all a try.
Do you think the issue is the charger and if so should I order a new one?
