Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0

I recently received a free Samsung Galaxy A Tablet through a promotional offer my bank has going on. While it won't win any awards, I have found it serviceable. I know this tab is a dark horse in the Samsung family and I really hope CM will do a ROM for it and that I can eventually get it rooted. In terms of bloat wear, this has to be the most bloat free of all the android devices I have learned. I have only had it for 24 hours now, I cannot comment on much other than to say that it does as the tin says. Response time from screen press can be a little slow when uploading multiple files, but that is the only issue I can see; other than no root or ROMs being available. Anyone else purchase one of these?

I really need to start purchasing phones/tablets with known root and ROM capabilities, these budget toys are killing me by degrees.

Is it top of the line? No, but it was also free and I can recommend it for the casual use . Power users will definitely want to shell out for the Galaxy Tab S or better.

This tablet can be rooted with the newest version of kingroot, it's not a bad tablet for the price there's way worse out their. I got mine from a friend that had 2 of them he didn't need or use. There's no rooms that I know of yet but there is twrp recovery you can flash through odin.
