So I switched to the Samsung Galaxy S from the iPhone. With the iPhone if a call came in I was able to push the volume button and it would mute the phone but I can't do it on the galaxy. Am I doing something wrong or is it possible to do that. Is there a way to lower the volume a little more when the phone calls come in? I like to leave it on so I can hear if I got a message but it's still too loud.

To mute the ringer for incoming calls just press the power button once.
The screen will go blank and the ringing tone will be muted. The phone will still be " ringing " though as far as the calling party are concerned.
