I just bought the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 and Samsung Gear 2, thinking that they are compatible, but apparently they won't work together. My phone runs on Android 4.4.4. After downloading and installing Samsung Gear Manager, the app finds my smartwatch, pairs with it, but when I try to connect I get a message where it says that either my phone is not supporting the watch, either I have to update the phone software. I am not sure which of the two is my problem.
Does anyone think there is a way of connecting the phone and the smartwatch?
