Samsung Galaxy Xcover 5 Advice Needed

I need to replace my sluggish Cat S31. I love rugged phones, but I hate the HUGE phones that seem to be the trend. I am interested in the Xcover5, but it doesn't seem to be available here in the U.S. I use T-Mobile. Any suggestions? Thanks.

according to verizon you can get the unlocked version and then activate it via their Bring Your Own device program:

but why not just get a phone you like and get a very rugged case instead....like the Otterbox defender?

I would never use Verizon, but I like your Otterbox idea. Thanks. I love the fact that the phone is under 6". Are there any other decent phones that area under 6"? (I would use tin cans before I used anything from Apple).

Might want to look at the Asus Zenfone 9 if size is a major concern:

A Galaxy Xcover 5 should work with T-Mobile but this model doesn't include support for 5G so you'll limited to 4G/LTE (Which depending on where you reside may or may not even be an issue. T-Mobile is continuously expanding its 5G coverage so 4G/LTE is still the most common cellular connectivity.)

The only issue with 5G that I know of is the one of potential effects of the radiation. As far as 5G itself, I don't care about it. 4G is fine. I think it will be around for a long time to come.
