hi why wont my samsung galaxy charge there is a ! symbol where the battery is it was ok last night

It's saying there's something wrong with the battery. Try taking it out for a while (with the charger out and the phone off). Then put the battery back in and plug the charger in.

Or you may just need a new battery - they don't last forever.
