I am having a problem with my facebook app location since Friday. Whenever I would post, it would update my status and post my location example "near city" to whatever city I was in. Friday I noticed that the location is still on and I can see the city name in the box on my phone and I updated my status, but the location did not get posted with my status. It used to then all the sudden it stopped. So location is on, it is detecting the location, but just wont post with my status update. Also, I cant see my friends locations anymore from the facebook app, only from a desktop computer, but I can see non friends locations on the facebook app. Anyone know if a setting may have been changed somehow. Why can I see the name of the city while typing a status update, but it wont post my location, or why cant I see friends locations on their statuses, but non friends I can? This is frustrating. Everything worked right until Friday morning for some reason.

Welcome lauham!
Sounds more like an app issue here.
Although I am not familiar with FB (yes, I know, I'm probably in the minority ) but go to the facebook app in the "manage applications" and clear the cache for it. I wouldn't clear data yet as you will lose the settings for it.
Try that but perhaps someone else familiar with the FB app will have a better idea for ya

I will try that! I am seeing things slowly come back, not in my particular update, but certain friends updates I am starting to see locations. I have not heard from facebook yet, I may not ever either. Oh well, not the hugest thing in the world, but frustrating being it worked, then after an update it stopped. Im thinking problem with the app too, thank you for replying to me though
