Hi
I purchased my S2 from th 3 store a couple of years ago, and now wish to get the phone unlocked so that i can use another carrier, took the phone into an unlocking store and they advised that the software on needed updating, but when i check for updates it states the phone is up-to-date.
I have the following displayed:
Android Version: 2.3.5
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKI8-CL616395 ROOT@dell149#2
Build: gingerbread.xwki8
Can anyone offer advice please? thank you
