Root Samsung Infuse 4g Battery life dropped after root

I rooted my Samsung Infuse 4g this morning. Everything is working normally i'm assuming, (since i'm new to root). But my battery lasted so much longer yesterday before i rooted. And now i've been through 2 batteries already. Can anyone help? Or have any suggestions on apps that can help with bringing my battery back to life since both are brand new and i'm using the stock charger that came from the AT&T store?

Oh, i am using Gingerbread.uclb3 if that even helps? I'm still learning.
Please help. I don't have any room in my budget to buy any apps. But any suggestions at all are welcome.

Hmmm never had a problem. My GF has an infuse that I rooted and it's battery last just as long as it did before I rooted it. Could be apps that you installed make sure that no apps are running in the background such as facebook I know that drains a lot of battery.

I am always using stock task manager to kill those that run in the back ground. Is there a free app that can help with my battery life?
