Help Samsung Infuse Frustration

I have had the Infuse since Father's Day & have Factory Reset at least 3 times. Maybe I am doing something wrong. I have downloaded Words with Friends & every time I close the app & restart the app I have to accept some document & log in to my facebook account. My wife has the HTC Inspire & does not have this problem. The accept screen never pops up & she is always logged in to her facebook account. Is this a Samsung Infuse problem? or is it a Froyo thing? My wife's phone is running gingerbread & of course I am still on Froyo.

Any help or words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated.

I should also mention that this happens to a few other apps also, Zynga Poker (Have to log into Facebook after every restart) Fox Sports (Have to click on the about this version page every time after a restart) & Beautiful Widgets (Have to click on the New in this version every time after a restart) the rest of the apps seem O.K

This problem you have seems one-of-a-kind, so maybe it is just your phone. THe ultimate way to fix it probably is to Odin it back to stock. [ODIN][UCKD5] GTG's Ultimate Unbrick - Return to stock - Working PIT included - xda-developers . This may help, and it will not delete anything on the sdcard parts, but make sure you do an app and other stuff backup not system because this may be a system error backup with titanium backup to make a restore point. Or you can install a custom rom with Gingerbread, and none of these problems.

Gingerbread is the way to go. You can get 2.3.5 running right now

Android is coming mid-october from what i have seen from reports. They say all android devices will be getting it. Seems a little hard to believe, but if you want to wait go ahead.

I'll wait until next week to see if gingerbread comes out. If not then I'll install the rom. From all the reading I have done it looks like rooting is very simple. But I am willing to wait just a bit longer first.

Ha maybe Att and Samsung are smart, maybe they are waiting for Ice cream sandwich then just skip 2.3 with 2.4 or 4.0 whichever one it is. Just my idea now...
