Samsung Internet Simply...Disappears...

Hey, gang. I came to y'all with a problem with my Transform Ultra back in December(I think), and you steered me right. So, I come to you again in hopes that you'll be able to pull it off again.
So here's the situation. From time to time, usually when it's very inconvenient or when I'm viewing something fairly important, the website that I'm viewing simply disappears, and the phone reverts back to whatever mode it was in prior to that particular website, such as the Gmail 'inbox' or the home screen(wallpaper) of the phone. There is usually no problem reconnecting to the website-I usually just go to 'menu,' 'bookmarks,' and 'history,' and open up the correct website. Unfortunately, just like initially, the website only stays open for approx. 5-10 seconds, then closes again. This doesn't happen terribly frequently, fortunately; maybe every 7-10 websites. Also, it appears that several of the same websites are causing the phone to do this, but I can't be 100% sure just yet. The problem also occurs whether the phone is in the '3G' mode or using WiFi.
I have taken the following actions in an attempt to alleviate the problem. 1. Taking the battery out for several minutes while the unit is on; 2. Updating the firmware, profile, software, and PRL; 3. Throwing the phone very hard against a solid surface(just joking, but admittedly tempting sometimes); and 4. Turning the phone off for 12-15 hrs.
There are some other issues/questions on which I'd like your advice, but this one is the biggest and most problematic. Any advice you could provide would be great. Again, thanks in advance for y'all's help, I really appreciate it.

It is likely caused by content on the webpage. Based upon your description, it sounds like an ad on the page is causing a compatibility issue with your browser.

Some things you could try are:
1) a different browser. This may not have the problem with the same ad, or may provide a more meaningful error than simply exiting

2) an add blocker app or hosts file (if rooted). If you can prevent the erroneous content from being loaded, the problem may go away.

3) collect a logcat from your device while browsing. This is fairly advanced and requires a computer. This can provide a possible message from the app when it closes that may hint as to why it's closing. This info can be then forwarded to either the browser's developer or a ROM developer for your device to see if they can integrate a solution into their next iteration of your ROM

Dear Koumajutsu, thanks for the reply. You might be on to something.
In regards to changing browsers, another member suggested using 'Opera,' but after downloading it, I realized that it makes things fairly slow, which is quite possibly worse than the original problem. Is it possible to only use Opera when I anticipate viewing certain websites?
And in regards to a 'blocker app,' I have one called AirPush Detector. Will that suffice, or is there a better one out there?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, another thing is your device may lack the horsepower to handle the drain of a busy web page on a busy web site. I have the same problem currently with my Hydro.

Try not to have too much else going on while web surfing, close any open apps you're not using. It may not help but it's worth a try. Make sure your next phone has a powerful processor. :D
