Help Samsung Keyboard Notification

I keep getting a notification on my S3 saying

"choose input method"

Its defaulted to Samsung keyboard, the other option is Google voice typing. Anyone know why this keeps popping up & which one is best to choose?

if you mean in the status bar thats normal for when your in a area where you will be typing so you can qucikly change between them
