Help Samsung Kies Installation Problem

I have a Samsung Galaxy S phone. I have successfully downloaded Samsung Kies previously, but I uninstalled it because it was causing me all sort of problems.

I have tried to reinstall it again. But when I open the downloaded file, the application never opens.

It stops responding for a bit, but then disappears, and a "Samsung Kies installation wizard" comes up, but I can't open it to see what's happening.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

Something is corrupting in the temporary directory it was in or the file is not corrupted in your system.

You should delete the temporary files in the folder it created at least and try again. If that doesn't work. Your system may be infected. Run Malwarebytes scan and SuperAntivirus on your system. Download the latest version (released a week or so ago then try again with that). Do the scans for infections first.

Scans for infections are in the clear, and deleting temporary files makes no difference. :/

Try using Revo Uninstaller to remove Kies or any program that might leave something behind. It is free and removes the little files they leave to see if you have installed the program before.

Then reinstall a fresh copy of Kies.

I had to do this with earlier versions but version 2 is a lot better.
