Samsung Kies refuses to open

It worked fine yesterday and now it just wont open. The phone is attached to the PC via USB as normal. The icon just wont open. It does nothing.
 
Be sure USB Mass Storage is enabled. I have had this happen before and had to reboot my PC for it to recognize my phone... Hope this helps!
