Help Samsung Moment Camera - how to take vertical photos

Hi all,

I'm a new Samsung Moment owner and I've had some frustrations with the camera. Why won't it rotate and let me take vertical pictures? I wanted to take a vertical picture to make my wallpaper...is there any way to do that?

Thanks!

Rotate the phone 90 degrees (just hold the phone upright), then push the camera button...

I don't think you guys are getting the question.

The question is actually how to use a portrait orientation photo as wallpaper, and to my knowledge, you can't do that. Wallpaper spans multiple screens, and therefore has to be landscape orientation. If you want something different, just put it in the center of the landscape photograph.

That is the easy and probably the most practical way--there is supposed to be some program that does this for us--takes any gallery photo and makes it the right size...but I have never used it and don't remember the name but I am sure there are some people that know what the name of it is...

It is called Wallpaper Set and Save. One of my favorite apps out there. Just take your picture in landscape then set it using this app and it will span your screen.
