Samsung New PC Studio

If you have put Samsung New PC Studio on your PC then take it off, it will not work properly, you have to download SAMSUNG Kies, works 100% with it.
 
I downloaded Kies and connected a Samsung Captivate. The PC doesn't recognize the phone unless I connect as mass storage. BUT...then Kies tells me to reconnect with PC Studio...which I don't have. I'm so confused!
