Help Samsung Note 4 calculator gives "wrong format" error msg

Every time I use my calculator it provides a "wrong format" error message after I press "total". I read another post about this, but the recommended solutions is not possible because my phone does not have the path: settings - applications -all applications -calculator. If I just go to settings - application manager (the only apparent option) the calculator is not listed as an app.

There should be tabs at the top of the application manager - all, installed, running
