Root samsung odinmaker ?

i found a app in the market called samsung odin maker. Its $2 and from the reviews i see it wors on more that the phones listed but im afraid to buy it to see if it will work or not!

any one know where i can get a copy or if i can download it then request a refund of do they require it to be unistalled and can tell?

I have no clue if you should. We should have odin working soon anyhow so it'd be a waste of money and testing
Edit: It creates an outdated movinand.bin file which we couldn't use :/ So it's no use

Over in the Samsung Prevail section of the forum there's a thread about making an Odin backup without the Odin maker program.

Worth a shot... I'll see if I can find the thread, if I do I'll link it here. Unless someone beats me to it. I'm at work...

From what i gather we still dont know what section of the flash memory does what yet(at least a good percent of it any way)

Learn from me and let them do what they do best! Figuring out whats what after rooting.

I bricked my phone cause i could not wait and i wanted to do it my self...
