Did anybody else get the invite to try Samsung Pay now during to Beta testing? I got a follow up saying I was excepted... just gotta figure out how to start it. I cant wait to start!

I'm really interested in the 'works with any terminal' thing, if that works as billed then Google better invent it for Android Pay. That just really seems like a great solution, not to mention it's pretty nifty.

Do let us know how it goes.
 
Finally get it installed today (there was a problem with the beta) but I only have one card that it works with so far... Bank of America! Will go to the store tomorrow and try it out!!

This app is so cool.. it stays at the bottom of the screen (even when locked) and all you have to do is swipe up with your thumb and its ready to use!! Its fingerprint protected so no worries... but no searching to find and open the app!!
 
My US Bank card is wanting me to call to verify even tho I got an email confirmation. I also was able to add my Citibank card successfully and got an email confirmation as well.
 
I used my Citibank card yesterday at a grocery store. The checker told me the total, they always ask credit or debit if you don't offer cash. I said credit and waved the phone near the card reader and ding, Accepted! She looked at me, looked at the phone, looked at me and says "Wait a minute... did you just pay with your phone?" I said yup. She stepped back from the register, turned and walked away a few steps, walked back and said "Serious?" Again I said yup. She turned to the young man bagging and said "Did you just see that?"

Fun with shopping!

Samsung Pay in S Korea claims $30,000,000 (million) in sales in the first month.
Samsung Pay in South Korea also introduced several value-added services including:
  • Payments that support select integrated circuit (IC) readers
  • Online payments using a Samsung Card (credit and debit)
  • Advanced ATM cash withdrawal transactions using a Woori bank account
  • Transportation services and loyalty card memberships coming soon…
Hints of what may come to the US as well.
 
Did anyone else get any other cards working besides BofA.I can not get any other cards to work.I can atleast say that the setup process on this was much easier than android pay.

Not me... and its annoying! Would love to use my bank card!!
 
I am new to the whole tap and pay thing is this supposed to work with all kinds of card payments like gas cards atm cards so on and so forth?

So far I've added Citibank Mastercard, and used it perfectly a few times. I've also added AMEX but not tried it yet, plus have added US Bank Visa.
