My Samsung s3 kept beeping. Waking me up. I went thru entire phone turning off notifications everywhere. 2 hours ago I accidentally hit the volume buttons on the side of phone. Sound volume came up. I turned the last volume notifications all the way down. Haven't heard a beep since !!!!!

Hi Ccain and welcome to the forums!
I know my Darling Bride had the facebook widget installed, and it notified her of EVERYTHING. We went into facebook's settings and unchecked almost all the notification options. Her S3 is much quieter now
