how do i sync my contacts on my phone with my contacts in my microsoft outlook?
 
I believe Keis (kies?) does this.

Alternatively, there are 3rd party sync tools. I use one called AndroidSync which syncs over WiFi, works OK - bit of a pain, but does the job - and supports older versions of Outlook which some tools (e.g. HTC Sync) don't.
