Samsung s5 battery life drains after app install

i installed a theme app and it totally messed up my phones battery life! i couldn't figure out how to uninstall it so i just soft reset my phone but it still drains way to fast as if i still have the app. i use to get a day and half or more of good use with my s5's stock battery but now it wont last 1/2 the day! can someone give me some ideas? i don't know if its ok to say what app it is i installed in the forum. is it ok or will i get banned? im only asking because i got banned from another forum just for asking a question about an app! crazy right! they said i was promoting apps.
