Help Samsung S6 leaking fluid

I was wondering if anyone has information on my Samsung S6 screen liquid leaking through the screen. It dries up like bubbles and I have to clean it off daily. Older phone still nice but is the stuff poison? Any recalls?

no recalls that i know of......that does not sound good. was anything spilt on it before? i would look into getting a new phone soon.

I don't like the sound of that at all. I don't recall the S6 having a liquid cooling system. But there is one component which will contain liquid: the Li ion battery. And if that is leaking it is very bad news indeed.

It's not possible to be certain what this is, but if it's even possible it's a battery leak I'd not use it myself.

Ohhh, I had a similar situation ... I thought that after a while it would dry (the spots didn’t scare me). And in the end, my matrix flowed and flooded the whole screen, that the phone did not work because of this. I completely changed the screen, glass + sensor ...

No spills and it seem to be coming through the glass then drying. I have to clean it daily and I was trying to get as much mileage out of this one as I can. I'll not ever buy another Samsung!

well keep in mind you have an s6 that came out in 2015!!!!! most devices are not designed to last more than 3 years....especially the batteries. they will decay and there is nothing you can do to avoid it. i'm surprised your phone lasted as long as it did. this does sound like the battery as that is the only component that contains any liquid. i would most definitely look to replace it as soon as possible. it could be really dangerous for you to try and get more mileage out of a battery that could implode on you. i had a samsung galaxy tab 2 where the battery tripled in size and broke the screen. i was lucky, it could exploded on me.

and i would not blame samsung for this. you have a very old phone and almost any phone that came out of 2015 could have the same issue you are having or worse. i love my samsung note 10+ and i will always look to a samsung flagship device first when i decide to upgrade.

Actually coming through the glass is very odd, since glass isn't noted for being porous.

Are you certain it can't be something being deposited on the glass? Maybe a surface coating on the glass could decompose, but I've never heard of that (wearing off is what usually happens).

Older phones are more durable, I've got an InFocus IN610 Still on Jellybean, with its original (removeable) battery. Battery still lasts a couple of days.
Note: This phone currently has no sim card, it's used as GPS and a streaming music player for in car. via BT. WiFI is off when it's out of the house.

MY THING IS THAT THESE COMPANY'S ALWAYS HAVE POOR COUNTRIES THAT USE UNDER PAID CHILD LABOR IN HORRIBLE CONDITIONS TO GET THE SPECIAL METALS USED IN THEIR PHONES SO I TRY NOT TO BUY OVERPRICED PHONES OFTEN!
