Help Samsung S7500 hard bricked

YKlee

Lurker
The CWM version (cm10.1-techkang) is draining my batteryso I wanted to revert to stock rom. While trying to do that, went into some options and could not get out so only choice was to remove the battery and reboot. Now it starts with this screen - cwm-based recovery v5.0.2.8 - with 9 options (#1 reboot system now...#9 power off). I try to use Odin but no response from phone. I tried to install zip from sdcard, the re-install of current CWM is successful but after reboot, I am stuck with same recovery screen. I tried to install the original stock rom S7500-XME but install failed with bad file.

Is the 3x 100k ohm resistor method my only hope?

Try flashing a higher version of cwm. Version 5 is known for creating boot loop

Thank you so much! I flashed using ver 6.0.1.2 and my phone is working again. But it is still running custom rom and I want to revert to stock rom. I have downloaded a copy from sammobile but odin won't work (no response from phone). I tried installing via sd card but got bad file error. Not sure if the file is really bad or can't install via sd card.
i am still searching for another source of the stock rom. Any idea where I can get it?

I'm sorry, I can't help you on that one. I would have recommended sammobile:(

I managed to get a stock rom from sammobile and able to odin it successfully (with green). Unfortunately, the phone is now looping at start up.
