Samsung S9+ Sync with outlook calendar

Hi

I recently updated my galaxy s5 to an s9. I use an hotmail email (not exchange services) to sync my calendar between my microsft outlook laptop to my android phone.

However in S9 the outlook app have the calendar, but in calendar app that comes with android i can manage the hotmail (outlook) calendar's, only gmail calendars. In my old S5 i could do it.

How can i fix this? or what alternatives i have to sync calendar between laptop and android.

Have you tried looking in Settings > Accounts and adding your account there?
 
In fact, the hotmail account isnt in "accounts", however when i try to do it, the phone says that hotmail account is in use in outlook app.

What can i do is clean the email from outlook app, and try do add it by "accounts", do you think is it possible to solve?

Can you send a screenshot of the error you are seeing?
 
I tried what i told you in the last post. I deleted the hotmail account in outlook app, and add it by "accounts". The account was added to outlook app, but isnt in "accounts" again!! It's wired!!

I can send you the screeshot but is in portuguese, but basically says that "the email is just linked to outlook app, do you want to link with another service?", i answer "yes" and the options is: Office365, outlook, exchange, yahoo, icloud, google or IMAP. I select again outlook and the massage is "was just linked".

Have you tried setting it up with the pre-installed email app on your device?
 
For anyone that could read this post, i think the "secret" is add the outlook account as an Microsoft Exchange Activesync, and not only a simple outlook account. Thanks
