i had a samsung for over 2 years on at&t no less.... never had a bars nor droped calls issue. (east coast)

No signal issues at all with my Galaxy S and definitely no dropped calls.

I also own a Captivate. Came from an iPhone 4 and this phone is def an all around better phone no signal issues or dropped calls and a beautiful screen. It might not have as small of pixels as the retina display but it is still a beautiful display. And very quick and great battery
