Samsung software update on my phone last night (UK user)

Hi all.

Last night I got a notificaton that a software update was ready to install on my phone. It took about 10mins over wifi to download and install. The phone then restarted itself.

Did anyone else get this?
So far today the battery has performed a little better.

What's your OS version? is it still 4.0.4?

Yes it's still 4.0.4

So nothing new mate, just probably a small incremental upgrade with bug fixes.

You have been cursed by teh placebo effect for feeling your phone is faster

The battery is definitely lasting longer today. Down to 82% now, when usually it's down to near 50%. Definitely not a placebo effect

I too got a Samsung update. But still on ICS.

I think it is mostly LH1 modem people have been getting. That is a sign of JB coming soon IMO.
