Help Samsung tablet

Why would my tablet take so long to load anything? For example to play my music, games or even to get onto the Internet. Even after I have restarted it and that doesn't make a difference.

What particular Samsung Tab have you got? An new or an older one. If it's an older one and you've had it for sometime, it might benefit from doing a factory reset, in case there's something on there causing it to lag.

Also depends on what you would use as a reference when defining 'fast'. A Tab 4 is a low end offering from Samsung. Meaning it will obviously be slower than a Tab S or an iPad, both of which having premium hardware.

Also if you could qualify "so long" it might help folks here diagnose your problem. What might seem long for you could may not be that long at all depending on the actual amount of time that goes by. As Mike said, a factory reset may be all you need, I have found that in the past it has speed my tablet up remarkably!!!

My Samsung Tab 4 8.0 was new when I got it 6 months ago. Not sure I want to do a factory reset because i have a lot I don't want to loose.

Want to do Factory Reset on my Samsung 4 SM-T330NU but some of my apps can't be saved to sd card what can i do if anything?

Many factors can cause it to be slow. And a tablet's 'newness' may not contribute to its speed. A lower end tablet will be slower than a high end tablet.

Other factors may include lots of running apps, or a badly coded app eating up CPU cycles and RAM. Very low internal memory space remaining also decreases speed since it would decrease space for temporary files needed as the apps are running.
