Samsung Wallet now available Note II

Those of us here in the United States who have Verizon or AT&T as a carrier are blocked from using Google Wallet.

It is my understanding that both these carriers are introducing (or have introduced) their own pay system.

I was greatly looking forward to Samsung's announced release of their Wallet software (which was to mimic Apple's Passbook).

It has just been released, and unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be nearly as great a program as hoped.

You can try it out on your own by going to Samsung's App page and downloading the app on your phone:

Samsung Wallet

As I said, I am not particularly impressed. There is no category for something as simple as entering a drivers license or registration. Images that you take with your camera are very tiny.

It was my hope to find a piece of software that would eliminate the need for me to carry around my wallet. Not optimistic that I have found that software in Samsung Wallet.

Looking forward to reading what others here think.

Not really impressed either. I'd like the ability to ditch my wallet at times and use the wallet functionality. The Samsung app is so-so seeing that it's a new release. Hopefully in future updates they'll get things right. Really would like to use Google Wallet but it's not looking like that's gonna happen anytime soon.
