Help Sat Nav help

I have used navigation on my phone for over a year now with no problems. So I feel I know my way around it.

Since the big update a month my sat nav has not been working properly. At first it would'nt find my location but that issue seems to have solved itself.

Once it has started to navigate the little blue arrow that is the car, doesn't point in the right direction. More worryingly is that the sat nave shows the position of where you were some 100 yards ago and the refresh rate instead of on the go is also about every 100 yards.

I have done a factory reset which has made no difference.

Any ideas what could be going on?

Have you tested the phone's GPS ability with another GPS app than Maps?
Apps like 'GPS Status' or 'GPS Test' can test the ability and could even improve it with clearing and renewing the aGPS data.
