satdigger folder virus ?

yeah that guy who answered does seem a bit paranoid. there is not much on the net about it. it does seem a tad bit suspicious. i wonder if a factory reset will get rid of the folder.

I'll say

Factory reset is useless. Flashing new firmware is useless

I find it very hard to believe that something like this could survive a factory reset. That is a complete reformat of the data partition. I don't think so.
When I read that I pretty much discounted anything else he claims.

In fact that thread could probably do with nuking, because he doesn't substantiate those claims in any way, and I think it's just mis-information and paranoia.
I can find nothing about this. Google turns up no results, apart from the threads on this forum. Unless anyone else has further information?

i think that folder was created by some cleaner program to backup app . i dunno . and if that folder was created by super virus , why would he created super visible folder .

so u r saying that factory reset wipe any virus ? if yes .i might someday do that . thanx

Yes that would do the job. It's extreme because it wipes out ALL user data and apps, so it would be your last resort. Obviously you need the Google login credentials used with the phone, to comply with FRP.
