Help Save as Gmail contact/phone contact

Hey people,
I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple... At some point I had an option to save new contacts as a phone contact or a gmail contact... but I've lost that option. Now whenever I enter a new # in my phone I have to manually enter it into my gmail account as well. (Lets not even get into the pain in the butt Google Apps account which will NOT sync my contacts from my personal domain)

What am I missing here? I've already lost one gals # that I really wanted to call when I did a factory reset and forgot to manually put it in gmail...

When I open my contact list and add a new contact, contact type is the first thing on the list below the name. It gives me the choice of Google contact or phone contact. Not sure what's going on, but it may be related to not being able to sync. If, for whatever reason, the contacts app doesn't think you have a Google account to make a contact in, it would only give you the phone contact option I would think.

Thanks...there it was, right in front of me. I think one of the roms I used to have popped that option up instead of my having to look for it. Thank you very very much!
