Help Save Configurations for after Hard Reset?

Is there a way to save the configurations...such as wallpaper, icon location and arraingement. and sound settings. So after a hard rest I can just reload the configuration file?

in trying things out and playing I have performed a couple of hard resets with my new Fascinate. All my contacts are on Google and apps are free. So those are no big deal but its would be convenient if I could save the configurations...such as Contact default#'s and which Stock Wall paper, and icon locations and orientations. I'm sure its all saved somewhere?

Icons and layout are in the app data for your launcher (Touchwiz, I guess?). Not sure about the sound. Easy with Titanium, dunno if there's a non-root method.
