Save me ( ics upgrade error ) plz!

hello, im new here, and b4 telling my problem, i would really really thank u if u can solve this miserable problem,

I have infuse 4g, from samsung,
i have upgraded from gingerbread to ICS yesterday.

There were many problems i encountered but i have a main one.

No playstore apps, are able to open from my phone, i have it installed, but there is no OPEN. only uninstall.
I cannot find any icon,from the drawer, only i can see in MANAGE APPS that it exist. but i cannot open it! THere should be update and open button if its installed but there is only uninstal.

i have tried several things like clear cache, factory reset and clear data on manage apps but simply nothing helps.

Does any1 have solution? i would really be thankful if i can solve it cuz there are other problems and they can be soleved by downloading alternative apps which i currently cannot do.

Can you try re-downloading the apps from the Play Store? Also, if you search for an installed app in the Google Play store, and go to it's page, what options do you have from there?
 
thanks for advice but no. thats the first thing i tried.
well, as i said b4, it has option uninstall only.
and in manage app, it says its there! but there is no open option, but again only uninstal

the phone is in safe mode for some reason. can it be that?
 
Yes, that may be causing the problem. There are two ways that you may have entered safe mode:

  • Android detected a problem with an app and entered automatically.
  • A combination of buttons were pressed when you powered on your smartphone.

I'm going to take a guess and say it was the first one. Can you please uninstall the last app you installed and see if the phone goes out of Safe mode?
 
that cant be the problem, because the phone was itself in safe mode from the beginning. I even once factory reseted, but it was still there.

I think of solution of upgrading from ICS to jelly bean... i cant find somthing that solves. is my idea appropriate?
 
hey.. i realized that safe mode keeps the 3rd party apps, such as downloaded from play store to freeze. It was because of safe mode that this miserable thing is happening. It wasnt only from jelly bean, it was already there from ICS.

upgraded to jelly bean but its never going away. im going to old baseband. Have any idea the quickest way to?
