Save money with Big Red! Unlimited Data Price Drop!

Not sure how I never saw this before, but I just called and got this deal. A co-worker did the same, didn't have any issues getting it set up as well.

Your contract will be extended 1 year from when you change promotions. I was in the same boat as The_Chief, extended it from Nov 2011 to Jan 2012.

Meant to do this some time ago, just got off the phone, saved about $10/M doubled my minutes and took my txts to unlimited.

The guy I got on the phone pointed out that they had no records of sending me this promo and tried a little to talk me out of it letting me know by joining this I wouldn't be in the next group of fliers to be sent out for promos in my area. I told him that was fine and lets move on with putting me on this one LOL

My contract got extended a month

this is the "email plan" that was circulating some months ago. originally you were supposed to have received the email offering this plan to you. i never got the email but i called and told them i did and they gave it to me lol.
it is a $20 discount per line with data, effectively making the data package cost only $9.99 per month per device.

I did the same and the representative said their system didn't show I had received the email so I needed to find the email and then follow up with them. --lame--

Glad it still works for you. I will not buy another phone on NE2, as cell phone technology is changing WAY too fast. For me: 1-year contracts from here on out. Upgrades in 10 months instead of 18 for an extra $100 or so.

I called last night and got this as well. The rep indicated that thier system didnt indicate i got the email so she put me on hold, came back after about 2 minutes and said she was able to still give me the offer.

Changed over my plan and saved $60 a month total over 3 phones gained 700 minutes and 10 Friends and family numbers. It extended my contract time by a month and i can still get a reduced price phone in march on the main line with the early main line upgrade.

I wonder if this would apply on top of already receivinga 22% discount on my plan and on two unlimited data rates from my employer.
The discount is applied to the plans, it doesn't (or shouldn't) matter what promotion you have. Although, the discount only applies to plans $29.99 and higher. So with this particular promotion its $59.99 for minutes/texts, which gets the discount and $10 for the data, which doesnt get the discount.

What do you mean "two unlimited data rates" though?

I get 22% off of my 1400 minute price plan and also 22% off of both of my $30.00 unlimited data charges.

Ok. I went and did it. There is a catch. If you have any lines that do not have a data plan then they will have to have one in order to get the promotion. I have 5 lines, 3 of which didn't have data plans. Now all 5 lines have unlimited data and it's saving me about 10 dollars a month. The kids will be happy.

I just called. no questions asked, got the deal, and text confirming the switch, MyVerizon shows the switch. I still have about 18 months on my contract, so it did not get extended at all. :D Should save me about $30 a month. :D :D

I had a 700 minute plan, so I doubled my minutes, plus now I get the Friends and Family lines... not that I really need them, We never went over the 700 before...

Thanks, ya'll,
Jerry
