Help Save my power button

Hello all,
Recently purchased a samsung captivate and i feel like i'm putting a lot of wear and tear on the power button by locking/unlocking. I did a search on the forums here and couldnt find anything related. Is there an app or anything that will allow me to do something different to unlock/lock my phone?

Well, I have the screen unlock/lock disabled with a free app called "no lock". You can use the volume up/down buttons to turn the screen on and off. I hope that's of some help to you.
