Help Saved apps on SD switch SD card

I have an encrypted SD card and have apps saved on my SD.


I want to use the card in this phone in a different phone and a different SD for this phone.

To prevent getting Application not installed on phone what do I need to do, copy the .android_secure folder from the old to the new after I encrypt the new one?

I've never encrypted the SD card, so can only guess. If you have space on the phone to copy .android_secure there, then copy it back to the new card and reboot I would expect (though this is only a guess) that that would work. In fact if the phone lets you do that you may be able to do it before encrypting the new card (if the phone decrypts the folder when copying it to internal then you'd have a decrypted copy, after all).
