saving apps to external sd card

I have an MiTraveler 10C and I can not save any apps to the 16 gig microsd card. On the tablet is internal memory and an internal sd card which is nearly full. The manual says the external sd card can be used when you need extra space. I had to delete some of my 2 yr old's learning apps to get him new ones. Please help me to be able to use the 16 gig external card to add him more of the apps he love.

With android V4 and above apps cant be moved to SD unless you root the device - but the data saved by the apps normally can be.
In the settings of each app look for an option to save the data to SD.
