Saving contacts to SD card changes format of phone numbers

Hi,

After saving my contacts to the SD card, resetting the phone, then importing them all back, the numbers are now in the form of 012-345-67891. Does anyone know how to remove the hyphens?

manually, but it makes no difference, they work fine with the hyphens.

I accidentally resorted mine over the top of all my contacts, and now I have 2 numbers for each person.

Think i've got to delete all then re-restore to sort that out, but not got around to it yet.

I've figured out how to change this. Export contacts to SD card, delete all from People, backup .vcf file, edit in Notepad, save to SD card, reimport back into Phone.

Unfortunately, on my P500 the hyphens block the caller ID
