Saving on htc evo shift 4g?

How do I select save on my micro SD CARD on my HTC EVO SHIFT 4G? Do I have to save when I connect to my PC? and which folder do I save it in?

I did a quick Google search and it looks like the default for saving files on the EVO Shift is reported to be the "Download" directory on the SD card.

HTC Evo 4G - Saved file went where???
