Help Saving pictures from web pages

When browsing a web page, I might see a picture I want to use as my wallpaper. On a PC or other computer, I could right-click the image and click 'Set as desktop Background', or even save the image as a file.

Is there a way of doing either of these tasks on an Android phone, and my phone specifically (the HTC Explorer)

Long press the image and you should get a popup menu allowing you to save it. At least that is how it works on stock ICS.
