Help Saving slide show pics?

I've been trying for the life of me to find help with my Optimus V. Is there anyway to save pictures from a slide show on my phone? I can save pictures if they come one by one. But I can't find a way to save slide show pictures. I can't get any options or menus to come up while a slide show is playing no matter what button I push or where I try and "hold down" on the screen. And I can't find any save option just looking at the text the slide show came in without having the slide show playing.

I've searched and searched and cant find any post anywhere that tells me if this is even possible or how to do it if it is. Even when they say in the description on search engine I still cant find the answer when I actually go to the link.

Please some help? I'd be ecstatic even to hear a "no it's not possible" at this point... at least then I'd have an answer to the question.

While the slideshow is not playing just long press right next to the picture and a pop up menu will appear with different options, press save attachment and it will save the pictures to your gallery without the text.

If your still using the stock gallery you should go to the playstore and download quickpics it's much better than the stock gallery and it plays videos pretty well too,and more!

Saving alot of picture messages eats up your internal memory space as well!

When you receive a slideshow it won't be playing. It should look like a picture covered over with an arrow, just tap the arrow and the slideshow will play. Long press next to it to save to gallery.
