How To Saving voice mail to computer

6 years ago, my then-1-year-old son left me a bunch of great voice mails. I keep saving them in my voice mail but I want to save them to my computer to save space, and before I accidentally delete them. Is there a way to do that?

And I just thought of this idea...what if I plug the headphone out on the phone into the speaker in on my desktop and recorded it as a file? Will that work? Seems like I tried this once and it didn't...but maybe I tried it on my old non-smart phone.

I'd also like to save my voicemails to my computer! Is it possible?

For now, yes, that would probably be the most appropriate way. This thread at the VZW forums has better explanations, including part numbers of what you'll need from your local Radio Shack: Download voicemail? - Verizon - Mobility-Networks

Once that is done, I *highly* recommend that you activate Google Voice on your Google account, and start using it for your Voicemail. Features:

  • unlimited storage
  • download to computer
  • notifications on your phone via the GV app
  • built in SMS (no MMS) included in app - means free text messaging for life
