Hi, all! Aussie Male here, on the good side of 40, just! 
Just ordered my G-tablet, so still waiting, but doing some reading in the mean time! 
I was a tinkerer on the GP2x F200 and had considered going from the GP2x (Awesome, although battery is a huge drawback) to the community built Pandora, but was very excited about the Tegra 2 chipset for along time, so ultimately decided to go for the Viewsonic G-Tablet and have a play with that.
By background I'm a programmer in Visual Basic (at least it's object based programming) but I can do procedural programming too. Unless I really get bit by the Android bug, I think I'll just be a hobbyist, but do have some cool ideas too, if I do something I'll definately let you know!
