Been trying to root my phone for the last 6 hours and it doesn't seem to be working.

We have special root areas for each android device and it's in your particular device's area where you will find the specific help you need to root your phone. Not know which phone you have I will give you a link to the Android phones here at AF. Find your phone in the list and click into that area. Once there you will see a section called "all things root" click into that area and you should find expert information on rooting your phone. Have fun and good luck.
