Help Says messages aren't being sent, help?!

Hi guys, really annoying problem with my S3. I'll send a text but moment later it'll say the message hasn't sent. However this isn't the case because the person replies as if it sent no problem. I've done soft resets of Messaging and TouchWiz, I also restarted the phone.
If anyone has any ideas on how to solve the problem I'd be really grateful

This is a carrier problem actual. When a message is sent your phone is supposed to get a message sent packet back. Carrier text messages sometimes get screwed up.
