Root sbf to stock for Asurion?

I dropped my phone down a couple flights of stairs a while ago and it seemed totally fine, but now it's definitely circling the drain (doesn't sense touch, glitches constantly, force closes whenever I try to access SD)

I have full coverage through Asurion do I need to reset first :/?

Won't hurt. Go to the following link and follow the directions to do a maderstock.zip reset. It will put your phone back to the way it was when you got it out of the box.
